Nature in the Ardennes

For nature lovers, Domaine Le Boulac is a truly special destination. The holiday park in Izier is set in 40 hectares of rolling, wooded landscape, with lakes, streams and a rich variety of flora and fauna. Thanks to the carefully spaced layout of the holiday homes and thoughtful land management, the park’s woodland character has been beautifully preserved.

Nature at its finest

Here, nature reveals itself at its very best. Visitors may spot beavers near their lodge by the lake, roe deer and badgers at dusk, or cranes flying overhead in large formations twice a year. In spring, carpets of wood anemones cover the forest floor, while in summer, fireflies create an almost magical scene. Numerous bird species, including tawny owls, buzzards and hawfinches, are also part of this vibrant ecosystem.

Boulac also borders directly on internationally recognised Natura 2000 sites, where stream valleys, calcareous grasslands and ancient woodlands are protected. The surrounding area is home to impressive geological formations, caves and prehistoric menhirs.

Surrounded by greenery and silence

Nature on and around the park changes with every season and is always impressive. After a day of exploring the forest or the lakes, it is a pleasure to return to a holiday home literally surrounded by greenery and tranquillity.
